Abstract:Supercritical fluids (SCFs) are the materials formed at the values of temperature and pressure, above its critical point. Some supercritical fluids can replace the toxic industrial solvents. Unique properties of the supercritical fluids especially supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO2) provide the various opportunities in the field of polymerization. The supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO2) is used as a monomer, reaction medium and catalyst for the synthesis of polymers. Various processes for the polymer synthes… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
