“…Secondary, industrial accidents may also occur as a result of natural disasters, therefore investigating accidents due to possible leakage of storage tanks and how to deal with them in emergency situations in emerging countries such as Iran is an important preventive measure [ 3 ]. Emergencies usually include toxic gas leaks, explosions, fires, chemical spills, and hazardous leakage of explosive and flammable gases [ 4 , 5 ]. Toxic and flammable chemicals are generally released due to the rupture of tanks, transfer pipes and other fittings.…”

“…Hazardous air pollutants involving unintentional releases (e.g., chemical leakage, burning, and explosion) and intentional releases (e.g., pesticide application and industrial emission) have become a public hazard in international society. Quickly, reliably, and sensitively obtaining molecular compositions of air pollutants and their distribution is in increasing demand. Compared with laboratory analysis of field samples, onsite analysis allows early warning and rapid assessment of spot harmful releases, saving time and resources, promoting public safety and environment, and avoiding sample loss and contamination during the sample transportation, thus enabling quickly taking measures according to the real situation. Therefore, the onsite investigation of molecular comparisons and distributions of hazardous pollutants in ambient air plays a crucial role in protecting public health and the environment.…”

“…The shortest path algorithms include the Dijkstra algorithm, the Bellman-Ford algorithm, and the Floyd-Warshall algorithm, which have been applied to solve the escape routes of res, oods, gas leaks and other disasters 21 . Dijkstra's algorithm and its improved algorithms were widely used in the detection of toxic gas leaks [22][23][24] . The Gaussian plume model was employed to calculate the toxic dose inhaled by people when ammonia leaked, and the Dijkstra algorithm was applied into nding the optimal evacuation path 25 .…”
