Revisions of Empirical Ground Motion Models and the Simulations of Long-Period Strong Motions of the 2011 Off the Pacific Coast of Tohoku Earthquake

Abstract: We revise the empirical relations for acceleration response spectra and average and variance of group delay time of long-period ground motions. The M W 2 term is added in the revised relation for response spectra. In addition the differences between the Pacific plate earthquakes and the Philippine Sea plate earthquakes are considered into their attenuation and the site coefficients.
