There is a growing global interest in natural tourism, which presents new opportunities for the development of small island regions. Several studies have shown that the development of tourism in the Indonesian Archipelago has led to several significant issues, so within the eastern islands of Sumenep— including Gili genting. The richness of natural features and the unique Maduranese Archipelago community, shown by Kahuripan area. However, the potential for developing a nature-based tourism sector (geosite) with the richness of geotourism, has not been adequately considered yet. Therefore, this study aimed to: 1) conducting inventory of the educational geotourism potential; 2) carrying out evaluations using GAM; 3) developing recommendations for future development of Gili Genting Potential Asset as Archipelagic Geotourism Development. According to inventory analysis, the Kahuripan Geosite consists of six Stop site with various information. The MV assessed 4.25 and AV counted of 4.75. The GAM diagram results indicate that the Kahuripan Geosite lies on Q22 tend to be moderate class of MV and AV. This quadrant suggests that the physical aspects of the geosites are quite interesting, while the tourism management that has begun to be developed needs to be further elaborated towards the geotourism-based education concept.
