Abstract:This paper reviews the use of ultrasonic fields in alkaline electrolysis for green hydrogen production, indicating the benefits and challenges of this emerging technology. Applying ultrasound can significantly increase electrolysis efficiency by reducing overpotentials and optimizing mass transfer.
