Due to increasing competitive pressure, shortened life\ud
cycle and environmental consciousness, more attentions have\ud
been paid to resource usage reduction and ecology protection.\ud
Green product design has received much attention recently,\ud
because product design significantly influences the cost of\ud
disassembly, component inspection and repair, remanufacturing\ud
and recycling. The paper's aim is to theorize and assess a\ud
structural model that incorporates radio frequency identification\ud
(RFID) technology utilization and supply chain information\ud
sharing as antecedents to supply chain performance In detail, the\ud
present paper intends to designate the best combination of\ud
strategic and control criteria to form a robust performance\ud
indicator system for manufacturing industry via the utilization of\ud
Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) - a well-known structured\ud
technique for organizing and analyzing complex decisions - and\ud
RFID technology. The paper concludes with a proposed model\ud
which can be used to comprehend the complex decision system of\ud
the sustainability assessment
