RFID BASED LOCATION IN CLOSED ROOMS - Implementation of a Location Algorithm using a Passive UHF-RFID System

Abstract: This paper presents a new concept for determining the location of an RFID-tag without any additional hardware. For this positioning system standard RFID components with passive RFID-tags within the UHF range are used. The measurement is based on a location algorithm which makes use of the RSSI value of the UHF reader.
