“…Short term complications include vaginal cuff abscess (18), ureterovaginal fistulas (20), and higher rates of urinary tract infection caused by extended use of Folley catheter for urinary retention (21). A rare case of rhabdomyolysis and compartment syndrome, after a 12-hour duration robotic operation, is also presented in the literature (22), showing the need for training and time managing of such operations. Although larger prospective studies as well as longer follow-up periods are necessary to clarify the long term outcomes including fertility results, pain, and quality of life, it seems that robotic management of even severe cases of endometriosis is an effective, feasible, and safe alternative in well-trained hands as it was also shown in a recent systematic review (23) and can be used without compromising the principles of open or laparoscopic operations.…”

“…93 Additional reported risk factors were high BMI, operative time, and time in Trendelenburg position, with respect to elevations in serum creatine kinase concentrations. [91][92][93] Hypervolaemic fluid therapy was the most commonly encountered treatment strategy, with the targeted goal of urine output levels ranging from 60 mL h À1 to 200 mL h À1 . 72 93 The majority of studies noted no long-term sequelae and minimal delays to patient discharge in patients with reported rhabdomyolysis.…”

“…Le maintien du patient à la table peut être assuré par des épaulières ou par des sangles autoagrippantes croisées sur le thorax pour éviter le glissement. L'installation nécessite de la part de toute l'équipe médico-chirurgicale et paramédicale le respect strict des modes d'installation pour éviter les complications de posture [2,9]. Des systèmes de protection spécifiques et adaptés à la morphologie du patient doivent être disponibles pour limiter le risque de compression cutanée ou nerveuse.…”
