Abstract:Statins are widely used to prevent cardiovascular diseases. However, rhabdomyolysis is a wellknown adverse effect of statin use. The present report highlights a case of rhabdomyolysis-induced acute kidney injury (AKI) in a patient receiving long-term moderate-intensity rosuvastatin.
