Abstract:Background: This study evaluated the efficacy of rhinophototherapy in patients with chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) without nasal polyps. Method: In this randomized double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, CRS patients (n=50) received either mixed visible and ultraviolet (UVA and UVB) light source application (mUV/VIS) or visible light alone that served as placebo.
