Rhodamine-based fluorescent sensors for the rapid and selective off–on detection of salicylic acid and their use in plant cell imaging

Abstract: In this manuscript, a series of rhodamine–acylhydrazone-based probes bearing a hydroxyphenyl moiety were designed and synthesized for the detection of salicylic acid.
