Abstract:Nitrogen and oxygen‐containing heterocycles are important core structures in pharmaceutical, agrochemicals, and functional organic materials. The rhodium(III)‐catalyzed oxidative CH and NH/OH annulation reactions of aromatic substrates with alkynes, alkenes, carbene precursors, and so on enable the synthesis of these important heterocycles. Since these reactions generate a rhodium(I) species after the oxidative annulation, an external or internal oxidant is required to regenerate catalytically active rhodiu… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
