Abstract:Ribbond fiber is a cutting-edge dental material designed to strengthen composite resin restorations, particularly in high C-factor cavities. Treated with gas plasma to enhance bonding, its translucent fibers blend seamlessly with composites, allowing natural light transmission through restorations. As an alternative to traditional posts, Ribbond reinforces weakened root structures, especially in flared root canals, where it acts as a "shock absorber" to prevent stress-related failures.
