Ribosome dysfunction underlies SLFN14-related thrombocytopenia

Abstract: Pathogenic missense variants in SLFN14, which encodes an RNA endoribonuclease protein that regulates rRNA degradation, are known to cause inherited thrombocytopenia with impaired platelet aggregation and ATP secretion.
