Rice husk-derived nano-SiO2assembled on reduced graphene oxide distributed on conductive flexible polyaniline frameworks towards high-performance lithium-ion batteries

Abstract: By combining rice husk-derived nano-silica and reduced graphene oxide and then polymerizing PANI by in situ polymerization, we created polyaniline-coated rice husk-derived nano-silica@reduced graphene oxide composites with excellent electrochemical performance.

“…Reduced particle size allows for easy release of stress caused by the repeated alloying and dealloying processes, as well as a reduction in the diffusion pathway for lithium-ion (Li + ) migration, which leads to better rate performance. Furthermore, one of the most effective ways to solve the stated problem is to introduce buffering materials such as carbon , and some metal oxides. …”

“…The various bands of PANI shown in Figure b, which appeared at 852, 1173.2, 1280, 1381, and 1680 cm –1 , are attributed to NH and CH stretching vibrations, benzenoid ring, and NH 2 bending modes. , In addition to the above peaks, the spectrum of PANI exhibits peaks at 684 and 1581 cm –1 , which may be related to NH 2 wagging and the presence of an imine functional group . The peaks at 1555 and 1470 cm –1 may be attributed to the stretching bands of nitrogen quinoid (NQN) and benzenoid (N–B–N) units, which makes PANI a conducting nature polymer …”

“…In addition, using precious metals (Cr) for synthesizing complex titanate anode materials was more dangerous to humans and organisms than using TiO 2 (B) precursors because the metal was harmful to the skin, eyes, blood, and respiratory system, was a human carcinogen and could cause biodiversity loss , and also environmental pollution . However, the specific capacity of TiO 2 (B) is moderate, and the development of electrochemical properties in TiO 2 (B) anode materials can be improved by fabricating TiO 2 (B) with many composite materials, such as alloying (Si, Sn, Sb, , Ge, , etc.) and conversion of anode materials (metal oxide, metal nitride, metal sulfide, , etc.).…”
