“…In the present group of patients, metastases to the lungs liver, bones, and brain were observed. This is in accord with the data of other authors [1,19,21,34,35,40,50]; in the literature, there are also rare reports of HM from EC spreading to the spleen, heart, skin, pleura, breast, adrenals, and iris [5,11,29,34,40]. Among our 3 nonendomrioid cases of EC, 2 (adenosqamous, papillary) spread to the lungs and 1 (clear cell) to the lungs and liver.…”

“…A report by Greenwald et al [3] showed 6 of 1,100 gynecological cancer cases to have metastasis to the heart, but none was endometrial in origin. We were able to find several reported cases of cardiac metastasis from endometrial cancer in the past 30 years [4][5][6][7][8], two of which were from endometrial sarcoma [4,8], which are less rare than the cardiac metastasis from endometrial adenocarcinoma, like in our case [9]. As with our case, the cases we found describe metastasis in the right ventricle, two of which also involved right ventricular malignancy, causing obstruction in the right ventricular outflow tract [4,5].…”

“…The three most common malignant neoplasms appear to be carcinoma of the lung, esophageal carcinoma, and lymphoma [1]. A literature search for particular metastatic spread of endometrial adenocarcinoma to the right ventricle revealed only four cases [2][3][4][5]. Right heart catheterization and biopsy, if necessary, should be performed under ultrasound guidance, for fatal adverse hemodynamic consequences have been reported [6].…”

“…The intracardiac mass may initially be asymptomatic but subsequent obstruction of the RV outflow tract can swiftly accelerate the course of the disease resulting in poor prognosis [2,4,6].…”
