Abstract:The increasing use of herbicides in recent years for improved crop yields requires a risk assessment. To assess their impact on soil, the use of an indicator named the synthetic biological indicator (ISB%) is proposed, which includes a range of biotic and enzymatic parameters derived from previous experiments. Three sulfonylurea herbicides were evaluated, named chlorsulfuron, amidosulfuron, and tifensulfuron. The biotic and enzymatic parameters were monitored using different herbicide doses in field and labora… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
