Abstract: Streszczenie: Obawa przed zakażeniami przenoszonymi przez transfuzję krwi była problemem od początku ery krwiolecznictwa. Jedną z faz wszystkich chorób zakaźnych, w tym przenoszonych przez kleszcze, jest okres wylęgania, podczas której nie ma objawów klinicznych wynikających z obecności drobnoustrojów we krwi.
