Abstract: BackgroundA polygenic risk score (PRS) quantifies the aggregated effects of common genetic variants in an individual. A ‘personalised breast cancer risk assessment’ combines PRS with other genetic and non-genetic risk factors to offer risk-stratified screening and interventions.
