Abstract:Key Points
Initial serum lactate and lactate clearance in resuscitated cardiac arrests have been consistently associated with survival.
The current study extends this association to a subset of cardiac arrest patients selected to undergo urgent cardiac catheterization.
We suggest that future risk stratification studies could focus on the development of dynamic risk prediction models that incorporate clinical variables throughout the cardiac arrest chain‐of‐care.
