RIT: uma Biblioteca para Análise da Relevância Temática dos Comentários Postados no Issue Tracking do GitHub

Abstract

The mining of software repositories generates useful and relevantknowledge for project management with direct application in effortestimates, task distribution and resource allocation. This workpresents the RIT Library, which mines communication data fromissue tracking repositories on GitHub, in order to calculate thethematic relevance of issue comments. To validate the library, atwo-step validation procedure was applied: a validation of the resultsby comparing them with the opinion of business experts; and aproof of concept, which exemplifies the use of the library in a clientapplication, highlighting how the different views of the generateddata can be useful for future analyzes in external tools.
