Robust double talk detection using the stochastic characteristics of power change for an adaptive noise canceller

Abstract: The technique of detecting double talk which is an important subject for adaptive noise cancellers is described in this paper. In order to achieve the purpose, the power change of an error signal is studied. In this paper, experimental results are given to Support the theory that the error power change of double talk beginning frames is larger than that of echo changing frames.
