Abstract

UOM (Units of Measurement) are in micro-grams per grams (i.e. UGG). STANDARD DEVIATION is the unbiased standard deviation (i.e. N-1 in the denominator). The standard deviation can not be computed if the sample size is less than 2. The code "ERR" will appear under this condition. CONFIDENCE INTERVAL 99% was computed by using the unbiased standard deviation and the "t-value" corresponding to the appropriate degrees of freedom. :t cannot be computed if the sample size is less than 2. The confidence interval is only computed on values falling above the detection limit. The reader must therefore evaluate this statistic in reference to the PROP > DL section. R.I.C.
