Role of aniline in destructing the 1-propanol + toluene azeotrope

Abstract: The separation of azeotropes is a major task in petrochemical industries. The role of aniline in destructing the toluene-1-propanol azeotrope is analyzed in the present work. Sound velocity and density values have been measured at 303 K in the binary and ternary systems containing aniline, 1-propanol, and toluene.
