Role of Bronchoscopic Cytology in Diagnosis of Pulmonary Lesions

Abstract: Objectives: Respiratory cytology specimens such as bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) and bronchial wash (BW) obtained using a fiberoptic bronchoscope are very useful in detecting or ruling out various inflammatory conditions, infections, and neoplastic lesions.
