Abstract:Graphene oxide (GO) exhibits very poor photoluminescence (PL) characteristics because of the nonradiative recombination of electron−hole pairs. One of the crucial approaches for the enhancement of the optical features of GO is functionalization. In this study, we present a novel catalyst-free, rapid, one-step, aqueous-phase synthetic approach using SELECTFLUOR under mild conditions that provide access to highly photoluminescent fluorinated graphene oxide (FGO) emitting in the visible region. Time-resolved fluo… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
