Abstract:Spontaneous cerebellar hematomas represent 5 to 13% of all cases of spontaneous intracranial hemorrhage. The main controversy involves deciding which cases require surgical evacuation of the hematoma versus other options, such as ventricular drainage only or conservative treatment.
