Abstract:Since, Fractional Lower-Order Auto-Covariance (FLOAC) remains the only technique to quantify the similarity between alpha-stable (α-stable) signals, therefore, the effects of impulsiveness and skewness parameters has also been analyzed before for better generation and detection in various applications. This paper includes the detailed analysis of the FLOAC of symmetric alpha-stable (SαS) noise signals in order to observe the possible involvement of the associated fractional powers. The two associated fractiona… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
