Abstract: Dengue is a disease caused by a flavivirus (DENV) and transmitted by the bite of a mosquito, primarily the Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus species. Previous studies have demonstrated a relationship between the host gut microbiota and the evolution of dengue.
