Role of interferon gamma gene polymorphism in spontaneous viral clearance versus chronicity in hepatitis C infected Egyptian patients

Abstract: Background: Polymorphisms in the cytokine gene involving IFN gamma (IFN-γ) have been implicated in many infections including HCV.
