Role of laparoscopy in blunt perforations of the small bowel

Abstract: In hemodynamically stable patients with blunt abdominal trauma, laparoscopy safely and effectively identifies small bowel injuries. Early recognition of these injuries and timely surgical treatment offer the best prognosis.
