Role of Moral Distress and Sense of Coherence on Job Satisfaction among Psychiatric Nurses

Abstract: Job satisfaction relates to nurses' health, productivity, job performance and quality of patients care. A better understanding of the determinants of job satisfaction among mental health nurses may allow identification of strategies to improve the working conditions for these nurses with resulting benefits for the quality of nursing care. Aim of the study: Examine the role of both moral distress and sense of coherence on job satisfaction among nurses working with patients having psychiatric disorders.
