Role of Serum Bilirubin as a Marker of Coronary Artery Disease

Abstract: BACKGROUND Serum bilirubin is having protective effect as an antioxidant with capacity to remove reactive species of oxygen. Studies have suggested that an increased bilirubin level promotes protection against atherosclerosis.
