Abstract:Roles of the lateral hypothalamus and prefrontal cortex in organization and control of automatized food-procuring movements were studied in rats under conditions of unrestrained behavior with the use of video-and photorecording techniques, destruction of the brain structures, and recording of single neuron impulse responses.
