Abstract: Objectives and background SLE is a chronic systemic autoimmune disorder associated with autoantibodies and cytopenias. There are few studies of the pathogenesis of anemia of chronic inflammation in lupus. This study addresses the pathogenesis of the hematological manifestations of lupus.
