Role of two‐component regulatory systems in intracellular survival of Mycobacterium tuberculosis

Abstract: The typical two-component regulatory systems (TCSs), consisting of response regulator and histidine kinase, play a central role in survival of pathogenic bacteria under stress conditions such as nutrient starvation, hypoxia, and nitrosative stress.
