Role of visual evoked potential (VEP) in indirect traumatic optic nerve (ITON) injuries and assessment of the visual outcome

Abstract: To demonstrate the critical function of Visually Evoked Potential (VEP) in the prompt detection of indirect optic neuropathy. 60 patients suspected of having traumatic optic nerve injury underwent VEP testing in < eight hours of traumatic experience.
