Abstract: BACKGROUND: Craniospinal irradiation (CSI) is an essential treatment component to achieve cure for some brain tumors in children and young adults/adolescents (C-AYAs). Multimodal treatment approaches are however associated with treatment-related late toxicities in these developing patients.
