Hie effects of 1,1,1-trichloroethane and triclilorotrifluoroethane on structural properties, microsurface, chemical structure, thcrinal properties and tensile strength of wool fibres were investigated. The results show that the solvents used cause a slight desorientation of the ordered part of the wool fibre and an increase in orientation of the amorphous part. The treatments with solvents did not cause changes in the chemical structure and only slight changes in the conformation of the macromolecules. The fibre surface was not changed during solvent treatmelit described. The solvent treatment effected the thermal and mechanical properties of the fibres to a very low degree.
Zrcm EinfluP nichttoxischer organischer Losungsmittel auf die Struktur uon WollfasernDer EinfluS von 1,l ,I-Trichlorethan und Trichlortrifluorethan auf Struktur, Oberflache, chemische Struktur, thermische Eigenschaften und Zugfestigkeit von Wollfasern wurde untersucht. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, daS die genannten Losungsmittel eine geringe Desorientierung der geordneten Bereiche der Wollfaser und eine Zunahme der Orientierung der amorphen Anteile bewirken. Die chemische Struktur wird durch die Einwirkung der Losungsmittel nicht beein-fluBt; die Konformation der Makromolekule andert sich geringfugig. Die Faseroberflache zeigt keine Veranderungen.
