“…Recently, the study of hydrothermal synthesis through thermodynamic calculation provides an incentive for material preparation development. A series of MOx nanomaterials with different morphologies, such as nanorods, 146 nanoribbons, 132,147 nanoflowers, 136 nanoporous structures, 114 are obtained by the hydrothermal or solvothermal methods.…”

“…SnO 2 , 135 MoO 3 , 147 Nb 2 O 5 146 and other MOx nanomaterials with good morphology were prepared by the "one-pot method". The MOx nanomaterials synthesized by the "onepot method" is simple, low-cost and eco-friendly.…”

“…As such, hydrogen gas sensor has been a critical asset in monitoring and controlling its concentration and leakage in various components and devices for H 2 processing, storage, and transportation. A resistance-metric hydrogen sensor was fabricated using a facile hydrothermal catalyst-free method (Zou et al, 2018). The Nb 2 O 5 nanorod arrays were grown using a hydrothermal method on a Nb foil (Figure 7D).…”

“…However, numerous other semiconductor oxides can also be used for this technology [8,10,12]. Niobium pentoxide (Nb 2 O 5 ) is a semiconductor that has interesting optical and electrical properties and can be applied in different research fields, such as DSSC, photocatalysis, and sensors [3,[13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20]. Nb 2 O 5 is an n-type semiconductor with a larger conduction band edge and a wide bandgap [4,8,12].…”
