[Ru(NH3)6](MoO4)Cl·3H2O and [M(NH3)6](ReO4)3·2H2O (M = Ru, Ir). Synthesis and crystal structure

Abstract

Ru(NH 3 ) 6 ](MoO 4 )Cl⋅3H 2 O AND [M(NH 3 ) 6 ](ReO 4 ) 3 ⋅2H 2 O (M = Ru, Ir). UDC 548.736 X-ray crystallographic analysis is used to determine the crystal structures of [Ru(NH 3 ) 6 ](MoO 4 )Cl⋅3H 2 O and [М(NH 3 ) 6 ](ReO 4 ) 3 ⋅2H 2 O (M = Ru, Ir) complex salts. The features of the fragment packing are studied. Not so many crystal structures involving complex [M(NH 3 ) 6 ] 3+ (М = platinum group metal) cations, including some examples of bimetallic salts, have been known in the literature [1-3]. These cations were also proposed to be used as heavy fragments in the solution of the phase problem in crystallography of DNA and RNA [see, e.g., 4-6].
