Abstract:Structure−function relationships of supported metal nanoparticle catalysts in the CO-assisted oxidation of ethane to ethanol were investigated. A rutile TiO 2 -supported Pt nanoparticle catalyst exhibited the highest ethanol production rate and selectivity.
