Abstract: Enhanced Recovery after Surgery (ERAS) protocol is a multimodal approach which includes variety of pre-, intra-, and postoperative components to minimize surgical trauma, reduce complications, and decrease hospital length of stay, while expediting accelerated recovery following elective procedures.
