Safety of direct oral anticoagulants in patients with hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia

Abstract: Background Hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT) is a rare vascular dysplasia resulting in visceral arteriovenous malformations and smaller mucocutaneous telangiectasia. Most patients experience recurrent nosebleeds and become anemic without iron supplementation.
