The purpose of this study is to examine the economic, social and environmental impacts of cultural tourism in Safranbolu. A mixed research model was used in the study. During the Spring Semester 2016-2017 Academic year, 424 students from senior year students attended Karabük University Faculty of Literature. As a result of research expressed the majority of participants, cultural tourism provides additional income to Safranbolu creates new business areas, improves living conditions, provides a good opportunity to promote our culture, provides historical buildings and local architects protection but leads to life costs, increases in land and house prices in the city. Students who participated in the study suggested, the lack of adequate advertising, infrastructure problems, transportation difficulties and lack of education in tourism are the most important obstacles to cultural tourism in Safranbolu. Students indicated, in order to increase the supply of cultural tourism in Safranbolu, publicity activities should be carried out in more and different ways, improvement of transportation and accommodation conditions, aborigines should be made more aware about tourism activities.
