Abstract:SAPONITE FROM MOLDOVA NOUA, ROMANIA Argilization associated with hydrothermal activity in the vicinity of a 'porphyry copper' deposit near Moldova Noun, western Romania, is represented mainly by trioctahedral clay minerals.
