Saqmunia (Convolvulus scammonia L.), an important drug used in Unani system of medicine: A review

Abstract: Background: Saqmunia, a resin obtained from the root of Convolvulus scammonia L. is widely used in Unani system of medicine for the treatment of several body ailments.
