Abstract:Three new sesquiterpene‐hydroquinone hybrids, saromacrophorins A−C (1−3) and one known derivative (4) were isolated from the deep‐sea‐derived fungus Sarocladium terricola 494a. Their structures were elucidated by comprehensive analyses of 1D and 2D NMR, HRESIMS, and ECD calculations. Noteworthily, compound 1 is a rare 5',6'‐dihydroxymacrophorin and compound 3 is the first example of macrophorin possessing 4′S‐configuration. Compound 4 showed potent anti‐food allergic activity with an IC50 value of 18.9 μM.
