Abstract: Eisenmenger’s syndrome (ES) is the most severe phenotype of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) secondary to congenital heart disease. In these cases, a significant systemic-to-pulmonary (left-to-right) shunting triggers the development of pulmonary vascular disease (PVD) and pulmonary hypertension.
