Abstract: BackgroundSeveral referral strategies for axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) have been proposed. The goal of these strategies is to overcome the delay between the first symptoms and the final diagnosis of axSpA by supporting primary care physicians in recognizing potential axSpA patients.
